Overview
Each year, the Colorado League of Charter Schools prepares an agenda of legislative priorities for the upcoming session of the Colorado General Assembly. The policy agenda is created with input and a vote from delegates from the League's member schools. Since the League represents its member schools at the State Capitol in its advocacy efforts, it is critical that our policy agenda represent the needs and priorities of Colorado's charter schools.
You can help shape the 2011 Legislative Agenda by participating in a web-based discussion forum over a two-month period beginning in July. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions on priorities that you would like to see included in our legislative agenda. At the end of the online Delegate Assembly (in early September), we will present the final legislative agenda and ask one representative from each member school to vote on the agenda. Stay tuned to this website for additional information in days and weeks to come.

Vote on the 2011 Legislative Agenda (coming in September)
The League’s Board of Directors has made a practice of asking the League's member schools to review the proposed legislative agenda for the upcoming session of the Colorado General Assembly. Delegates and their schools should carefully review the draft agenda, and accompanying resource materials together with the accompanying rationales, and submit input into the draft agenda throughout the input phase of the Assembly. A final agenda will be voted upon prior to the close of the Delegate Assembly.
