The Colorado League of Charter Schools is excited to announce an opportunity for charter school students to win a scholarship from CollegeInvest.
Three winners will be chosen (one from each age category). The High School Winner will win a $500 scholarship. Middle School and Elementary School Winners will each receive $250 in a 529 college savings account. All prizes are generously donated by CollegeInvest.
How it Works
There are three age categories. One winner will be chosen from each age group and will receive a scholarship award from CollegeInvest. Winning students will be honored at the Colorado State Capitol on Thursday, April 22, 2010, during the Colorado Charter Schools Rally. During the event, winners will be presented with their scholarship prize by a representative from CollegeInvest and the Colorado League of Charter Schools, as well as and a representative from the Colorado State Legislature (name of legislator to be announced). Winners will be notified via a phone call to their teacher and/or parent/guardian at least two weeks prior to the rally so that they can make appropriate arrangements to attend the rally.
