    Charter Schools Week 2010

    2010 Colorado Charter Schools Week

    April 19-22, 2010
    Colorado State Capitol - Denver

Mark your calendar for the 2010 Colorado Charter Schools Week, April 19-22.

Charter Schools Week is a great educational opportunity, not only for students, but for parents, teachers, administrators and Colorado legislators as well. This week gives students the opportunity to learn more about the Colorado State legislative process - and for parents, teachers, administrators and legislators to learn more about, and celebrate, the choice and opportunity that charters school are providing for OUR children.

Charter Schools week will include a variety of activities including tours of the Colorado State Capitol, a rally on the steps of the Capitol, briefings by Colorado legislators and more.

    Tours of the State Capitol
Tours of the Capitol will be held throughout the week. Reservations are required and fill up quickly. For more detailed information about each of the tours, and to reserve a tour, please click here. Keep in mind, each tour is limited to a maximum of 27 students and 3 teachers/chaparones.

Colorado Charter Schools Rally at the Capitol
Join hundreds of charter schools students, parents, teachers and supporters at the 2010 Colorado Charter Schools Rally on Thursday, April 22 at 11:30am. Hear from state legislators who support choice and innovation in education.

Travel Subsidies for Colorado Charter Schools
A limited number of subsidies (up to $150 each) will be available to provide schools with funding to offset the cost of travel to and from the Capitol. Click here to download a travel subsidy application. For more information, contact Donnell Rosenberg at 303-989-5356, ext. 115.
