Description

Venture Prep is a free, public charter school that applies a rigorous, college-prep curriculum to prepare students to succeed in college and their future careers. The school serves students in grades 6 to 12 with a unique blend of hands-on, project-based learning and 200-minutes of daily, intensive skill instruction in literacy and math. Venture Prep is recognized for its small class sizes, dedicated teachers, AP classes, college and career planning, project learning, and enrichment activities – including sports, art and music, yoga, computers, and entrepreneurship. With the college acceptance cycle still underway, over 90% of the school’s first graduating senior class were already accepted to college as of this writing in February 2012.
