Position Summary:Deliver a prepared lesson plan for grades kindergarten through third grade, depending on assignment. Manage the classroom to create a positive, healthy and safe learning environment. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of school policies and procedures. Provide direction and leadership to classroom.

Qualifications for Substitute Teachers

Required:

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish

Excellent English communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment toward a degree

Experience as a substitute teacher or in a classroom setting
