Mission:
The Ricardo Flores Magón Academy prepares kindergarten through eighth grade students from a multitude of communities in Metro Denver for success in high school and graduation from college. In an academically rigorous environment students will master the cores subjects maximizing their knowledge in math, reading, and writing.

The Ricardo Flores Magón Academy is looking for a Director of Operations for the 2011/2012 school year.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma and/or G.E.D. with some college credits
• B.A. or B.S. degree is a plus
• Able to pass a background check
• Passion for working with diverse people and free/reduced lunch students
• Able to read, write and speak Spanish at a level of high proficiency
• Willingness to work hard and put in long hours
• Experience working with K-6 population and/or experience working with diverse students/people
• Must be a true professional that can handle pressure and stressful situations
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and generally computer savvy

Responsibilities:
• Interact with students, staff, and parents in English and Spanish
• Keep the office well maintained and efficient
• Account for important paperwork, money, and materials
• Translation and Interpretation with English and Spanish
