Job Description:

Northeast Academy Charter School is a K-8 school of choice in the Denver Public School district. NACS is a Core Knowledge curriculum based school specializing in building a strong emphasis on character and moral values.

NACS is seeking a licensed teacher with an ESL endorsement who is team-oriented, innovative, and who possess the knowledge of and background in working with ELL students of all language proficiency levels. This teacher will be responsible for ELA instruction for grades K – 8th and will provide direct English language instruction to meet ELD requirements for identified students, manage and conduct CELA testing, and collaborate with grade level teachers and literacy specialist. Experience and Spanish fluency is preferred. The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, and hold or be eligible for a Colorado State Teacher Certification. This opening is for the remaining 2011-2012 school year and into school year 2012-2013.

Salary based upon experience.
