Job Description: Successful candidate will teach 5 high school Science/Math classes. Must possess a valid Colorado Secondary Science/Math Teacher License or endorsement. Preference will be given to those certified and experienced in SIOP / sheltered instruction. Must possess or be willing to work towards ESL endorsement. Position is full time and day and night shifts are required, Monday through Thursday. Occasional Fridays are necessary for school-directed professional development. Candidate will be working at an alternative charter High School in Jeffco School District serving a predominately ESL population and at-risk learners. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Must be a team player, love kids, and be dedicated to assisting our school community. Position will be for the 2011-2012 school year.
