Are you creative, organized, and motivated to design and implement a fun and exciting summer camp program for kids?  Free Horizon Montessori is looking for the best and brightest to serve as our Summer Camp Director and bring our program to the next level.  This is a terrific opportunity for an energetic, fun-loving, responsible individual to shine!  We’re looking for someone to develop week-long camp experiences focused on science & nature, the arts, drama, ecology, and more. 

Minimum Requirements (Candidates must possess all of the following):
    Currently possess a Colorado Director Qualification Letter from the Colorado Department of Human Services
    Group Leader Qualified
    Minimum 3 Years of Teaching or Childcare Experience (ages 6 – 12)
    Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications
    Ability to Supervise Staff and Children
    Ability to Originate, Plan, Organize, and Facilitate Engaging Daily and Special Programs
    Ability to Manage and Adhere to Program Budget and Complete Required Documentation
    Computer Literate with Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    Comfortable Communicating in Multiple Settings and with Multiple Groups (respectful, positive)
    AA/AS or Higher Degree Preferred
    Full Time Availability from mid-June through the first week in August; Periodic Availability February through May for Planning

Other Desired Qualities:
    Experience, Knowledge, or Interest in Montessori Education
    Ability to Work with Preschool-aged Children
