Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Keep school building in clean and orderly condition. Responsible for assisting teachers and other staff in day to day operations of the building. Duties may include tending to the HVAC, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying administration of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks and other outside areas. Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• Able to work 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. M-F
• High School Graduate
• Preferred past school facilities work
• 260 work days per year
• Polished appearance

Description

Academy Charter School is a Kindergarten through 8th grade charter school. We are a publicly funded school founded by a parent group in 1994. The building we are currently in was first opened for students in 2001. Our school offers unique educational opportunities through our Core Knowledge Curriculum, our Core Virtues, and rigorous academics. Our parent community is highly involved in the education of our students and are required to volunteer in the school 20 hours per year.
