Job Description:

Lotus is a college prep school with strong emphasis on Math, Science and Technology. Successful candidates will be team players, energetic, passionate, creative, and patient. All candidates must be highly qualified according to NCLB, ELL endorsement is required.

ELL teacher will provide active, innovative leadership of the English Language Learners Program, and ensure the growth and efficient operation of that department. Collaborate with faculty to develop and deliver high quality, effective English language programming. This includes maintaining an academic curriculum that enables students to be successful within their specific fields of study, and future careers. Direct overall program operational growth and management, and contribute to the professional image of the School.Supervise all placement, delivery and evaluation processes. Provide engaged support to students as needed. Organize and assist with School promotional and recruitment activities as needed. Participate in professional development activities in order to remain current in practice and theory, and to contribute to the subject area. Support the professional growth of faculty and model best practice at all times. Abide by the School's Policies and Procedures.
