Colorado League of Charter Schools Group Purchasing Code of Conduct
The needs of the League's member schools will take precedence over all other considerations
League directors with influence over contracting decisions will not accept gifts of greater than a nominal value from suppliers that have or wish to have a business relationship with the League
League directors and officers with influence over contracting decisions should recuse themselves from contract negotiations with any supplier from which they have received gifts of greater than nominal value
All competitive suppliers will be given equal consideration in each contracting category. All open RFP’s will be posted on the League website in advance of an award.
Each contracting category will have a standardized administrative fee (the fee is not a variable component of the award) that will be declared in advance of the competitive bidding process
A vendor’s other business relationships with the League (such as conference sponsorship or vendor guide participation) will have no influence on contract award decisions
