Colorado offered more for less
Reading Eagle - Reading,PA - February 16, 2009

I relocated here from the metro area of Denver, Colo. three and a half years ago. My former school district had 14 elementary schools, five middle schools, and four high schools. One is geared for a vocational-technical education, another is heavy on math and science, one is known for its sports program. There also are charter schools for the gifted, the arts and more from which to choose. Despite all of this choice and opportunity, my tax burden in Colorado was one-third of what I pay here.
